To Whom It May Concern:
The Personnel
Department of the City of Oklahoma City uses
Spectrum Development in our Welfare-to-Work
project to help welfare recipients
transition into employment. Many welfare recipients fail to climb
a career ladder because they lack an
understanding of their strengths,
weaknesses, and workplace expectations.
Spectrum Development not only helps
them to better understand themselves, but it
also prepares them to appreciate their
future co-workers and supervisors. Based on my training and development
background, Spectrum Development is a
valuable resource for any group or business
offering personal or professional
development workshops.
Here are several quotes
from employed Welfare-to-Work customers who
attended our Spectrum Development workshop.
“Now I can
identify co-workers and supervisor’s
personalities so we can better get along as
a team.”
“I understand attitude and people’s
behaviors better now.”
“All companies
should teach Spectrum Development, because
it helps people in management and line staff
to better understand each other."
